The Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Career Center (EICC) – previously Start-up Service – supports and accompanies students and graduates interested in starting their own business on their path to self-employment. It offers a broad portfolio of workshops, creative spaces for project development for all students and graduates of FH Campus Wien as well as access to national and international networks. It also supports the development and implementation of internal innovations that improve study operations. It offers various funding opportunities for employees who are working towards a doctorate or habilitation.
Setting up your own start-up requires a number of things - and preferably all at the same time: a compelling idea, the right atmosphere, a creative environment, infrastructure, the knowledge of everything that needs to be considered, a sophisticated plan, excellent contacts and last but not least - the entrepreneurial spirit. The interdisciplinary teams from all programs at FH Campus Wien deal with a variety of different topics, such as sustainability in the shoe and furniture industry, technical developments in the healthcare sector, IT security or e-mobility.
Do you have an innovative business idea and great motivation to develop it further? We offer not only advice and information, but also the opportunity to present your pitch once a year (June) in front of a top-class jury of experts from academia, business and industry for a place in our funding program.
We look forward to receiving creative, exciting ideas from all disciplines and departments: eicc@fh-campuswien.ac.at
The open course “How to start a start-up“ is offered once per semester. Those interested can learn about entrepreneurship and familiarize themselves with the topic.
Moreover, the EICC offers numerous creative and information workshops.
We offer free workshops on various topics to interested students, graduates and employees of FH Campus Wien. To take part, please register via our contact form to reserve your place. You will receive more detailed information about the venue and the program by e-mail from us.
