Austria's universities of applied sciences are tackling the most pressing issues of our time and using application-oriented research to find answers that will shape our future. They drive forward innovations in a wide range of areas and actively shape the world of tomorrow. The motto of the 18th Research Forum is “Doing Research - Shaping the Future”.
Applied research provides innovative answers and practical solutions for current and future challenges. Each of the nine tracks is dedicated to a specific area of shaping the future – from technological progress and sustainable development to social and economic transformations. Experts show how current, practical research results set the course for a sustainable and just future and actively shape it.
Applied research is future-oriented. The program of the 18th Research Forum of the Austrian Universities of Applied Sciences reflects this by bringing together researchers from different disciplines. The focus is on the results of applied research - “Doing Research - Shaping the Future”. The research forum offers a platform for innovative approaches and practical solutions, which are also the result of cooperations between different disciplines.
