Studying in the Flex Model

Thanks to clear structures and set curricula, universities of applied sciences enable their students to progress according to plan without additional semesters. Actually, this is a great thing, if life didn't sometimes get in the way. But don't worry: challenging times don't have to lead to dropping out. With our Flex model, you can extend the duration of your studies by taking lectures from one year spread over two years.

completion of military or civilian service
pregnancy and childcare
long-term illness or serious impairment of physical integrity
unforeseen, extensive care obligations of relatives
securing your livelihood, which does not allow you to continue studying at this time
political function, e.g. within the framework of the Austrian Student Union
special professional challenges such as a temporary transfer abroad

Wählen Sie im nachfolgenden Anfrageformular Ihr laufendes bzw. Ihr Wunschstudium aus und beschreiben Sie kurz Ihre Situation.
Wir melden uns, um Ihre Fragen zu beantworten und ggf. einen Termin für ein individuelles Gespräch zu vereinbaren.
Sie erhalten alle notwendigen Informationen, um Ihren Antrag für ein Studium im Flex-Modell stellen zu können.
Nach Genehmigung erarbeiten Sie mit Ihrer Studien- bzw. Hochschullehrgangsleitung einen auf Ihre Bedürfnisse abgestimmten Studienplan. Der Antrag gilt jeweils für ein Studienjahr und kann bei Bedarf verlängert werden.

Es besteht kein Rechtsanspruch. Voraussetzung ist ein regulär und positiv abgeschlossenes Aufnahmeverfahren. Vereinbarungen über flexible Studienpläne werden erst mit Beginn des Studiums und nach Studienstart getroffen.
